Collection: The Heritage Grain Collection

The Heritage Grain Collection
Vibrant Edition

Long before modern food systems narrowed the grains on our tables, communities around the world cultivated an extraordinary diversity of seeds — each adapted to its landscape, climate and culture.

The Heritage Grain Collection celebrates three remarkable grains that have nourished people for generations: Sorghum, Teff and Maize.

Each print presents its grain as both food and botanical heritage, drawing from vintage agricultural illustrations with a richer, more vibrant palette — terracotta, deep indigo, ruby crimson and golden ochre — bringing contemporary warmth to a tradition-rooted aesthetic.

Sorghum speaks to resilience — a remarkably adaptable grain with deep roots in African foodways and a growing place in modern kitchens. Teff celebrates the small but mighty grain at the heart of Ethiopian and Eritrean food traditions. Maize tells a broader story, rooted in Indigenous agriculture throughout the Americas and transformed over thousands of years into one of the world’s most important food crops.

Together, the three prints honour the knowledge, landscapes and food traditions that have carried these seeds from one generation to the next.

Three grains. Thousands of years of history. One enduring connection to the food we grow and share.
