Members' Kitchen — June 2026 Update

Welcome to this month's update from the Members' Kitchen. This page is here to help you orient yourself — what's new, what we're focusing on, and where you might want to begin.

June has been a bright and summery month. We added 19 new recipes to the Members' library — leaning heavily into seasonal produce, chilled salads, frozen desserts, and a few baking additions. We also published two new Skills articles and a Wellness piece focused on summer nourishment. As always, a few things are being quietly tuned behind the scenes — if you spot a broken link or something that doesn't look right, please let us know and we'll get it sorted.

🧠 Skill Focus: Knife Care, the Art of Gelato & Tasting as You Cook

This month's skills content covers very different but equally rewarding areas — keeping your tools in peak condition, unlocking a technique that turns your freezer into a gelateria, and learning to adjust as you cook.

This Month's Reflection

In this section, we hope to summarize the thoughts that Members submit each month that we think would be of interest or help to the broader community.

You're invited to reflect privately, jot down notes, or submit a response if you'd like to contribute to the ongoing conversation. Your views will always remain anonymous.

There are prompts to submit your thoughts throughout the articles and recipes, and you can always do so on the Submit a Reflection page found in the Members Kitchen menu under Members' Input.

🤝 Community Contributions

We'd love to receive more recipes submitted directly by Members — this helps build the library for everyone. Submissions can be made through the link in the main Members Kitchen menu under Members' Input. We've also kept the Members' Comment page open for anyone who wants to share something directly with the community.

❤️ Giving Back

As always, 5% of this month's membership subscriptions will be donated to organizations working to address food insecurity. Your membership directly supports both this community and broader access to nourishment and cooking resources.

Where to Start (If You're New or Short on Time)

If this is your first visit — or if life is full right now — here are three easy entry points:

  • choose one new recipe to cook this month — the chilled salads and no-churn gelatos are a great low-effort starting point for summer
  • read the skill or wellness article that feels most relevant to where you are right now
  • spend a few minutes with the reflection prompt, without trying to "solve" anything

That's enough.

Looking Ahead

Next month we'll continue expanding the recipe base and building out the Discovery modules. We're also continuing to refine the behind-the-scenes experience — navigation, filtering, and content organisation — so that finding what you need becomes easier over time.
